Mass for Saint Martha: Introitus: Marthae piae memoriam agamus
Marthae piae memoriam agamus dando gloriam Deo cuius potentia vicit draconis furiam. Ps. Evovae.
Let us celebrate by giving glory to God the memory of pious Martha whose power conquered the fury of the dragon. For by the sign of the cross she is bound by a chain and girdle. Gloria.
Dic ergo illi, ut me adiuvet.
Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? Bid her therefore that she help me. Verse: Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things. Mary hath chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her.
